Jetty measurements
At the NIOZ Jetty, located at the border of the Wadden Sea and North Sea, we continuously measure water level, temperature, Â and salinity as well as the wind speed and direction.
The NIOZ jetty is equipped with automated sensors, which measure a suite of parameters such as water temperature, salinity, water level. We use the statistical software R as a real-time operating system to visualise the actual measurement data.Â
