National Marine Facilities (NMF) is a division of NIOZ. We provide researchers working in the Netherlands with ships, seagoing equipment, data management and qualified personnel to operate these facilities.
A story of more than 145 years
The history of NIOZ Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research dates back to the founding of the Zoological Station in 1876. Today we are the second largest of the NWO national centres of expertise.
